SpoorA Spoor in the context of Aldène Cave is a footprint found in the Cave. 
ObservationEvery fact about a footprint is generated by its observation. The Observation contains the measurements, condition assessments of the spoor, the inference making about the creator and the creation circumstances of the Spoor. 
TrackwayA Trackway is described as a sequence of footprints. 
SubjectThose individual human beings who left spoors in the cave are referred to as Subjects. 
EventAn Event describes activities in the sense of a coherent event carried out by one or more participants. In this context it is understood as a summary of traces of individual or several subjects in temporal, spatial and contentrelated connection with each other. 
Spatial UnitThe Spatial Unit is understood as a part of a Cave. An example is the "Paul Ambert Gallery" of the Aldène cave in France. 
Spatial SubunitThe Spatial Subunit is a part of a Spatial Unit.
